FELT à la main with LOVE is proud to offer a variety of studio workshops for fibre fans of all ages and levels. I hold workshops throughout the year, and would love for you to join. For more information about workshops and studio time to work on a private project please get in touch.

FELT à la main with LOVE soft sculptural flower & succulent
$150/5hrs
Fiber supplies $25
This 5hr introduction to wet felting workshop is to learn how to make a soft sculptural hand felted flowers. Starting with a 2D layout, cutting it and shaping it first, into a flower, followed by a succulent. You will have time to practice by making 2-4 artifact.
Supplies include enough wool and embellishment to make 5 artifacts.
Felting tools will be standing by for you to use (bubble wrap, mesh, water container, soap,...).

This 5hr introduction to wet felting workshop is to learn how to make two different weights of felt: one that can be turned into lightweight earrings, the other into some more solid bracelets.
The supplies include wool and embellishments enough to make an approx. 2-4 pairs of earrings and a couple of bracelets.
Earring hardware, sewing machine, beads, and felting tools will be standing by for you to use (bubble wrap, mesh, water container, soap,...).

This 5hr introduction to wet felting workshop, using a resist pattern, is to learn how to make a piece of felt take shape, going 3D, and forming it into a sphere or a tube like a birch lamp.
Supplies include enough wool and embellishment to make 1 lamp.

This 5hr introduction to wet felting workshop, using a resist pattern, is to learn how to make a piece of felt take shape, going 3D, and forming it into a hat with what can look like ears or drape and shape it into your hearts desire.
Supplies include enough wool and embellishments to make one hat.
Felting tools will be standing by for you to use (bubble wrap, mesh, water container, soap,...).
FELT Ã la main with LOVE scarf

This 5hr workshop is to learn how to nuno felt a light weight scarf. It helps to have tried wet felting or have a basic knowledge of felting, but watching a few nuno felting “how to” videos also qualifies you to try this! It is a nuno or laminated felting technique that binds the wool to another fabric (in tis case a cotton gauze).
Supplies Include wool, embellishments and a piece of cotton gauze to nuno felt.
Felting tools will be standing by for you to use (bubble wrap, mesh, water container, soap,...)

This 5hr introduction to wet felting workshop is to learn how to make a piece of felt that can be turned into what ever you would like, for example : coasters, flower broaches, bookmarks, mats,... or wall art!
Supplies include enough wool and embellishments to make an approx. 14" x 20" piece of felt.
Felting tools will be standing by for you to use (bubble wrap, mesh, water container, soap,...).
